The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South, Hon. Michael Okyere Baafi, has urged delegates in the New Juaben North and South and Suhum Constituencies to retain Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua (JFK) as the General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Addressing delegates during JFK’s campaign engagement, Hon. Okyere Baafi described the General Secretary as a hardworking, disciplined, and visionary leader whose stewardship has strengthened the Party through one of its most challenging periods. He noted that the overwhelming presence of Members of Parliament on the campaign tour demonstrates the broad confidence JFK enjoys across the Party.

According to him, his colleague Members of Parliament are not merely participants on the campaign tour but active members of the JFK campaign, committed to ensuring his re-election as General Secretary because of his proven leadership, competence, and unwavering dedication to the NPP.

Hon. Okyere Baafi stressed that the Party needs continuity, experience, and capable leadership at the national secretariat as it reorganizes for victory in the 2028 general elections. He therefore called on delegates to overwhelmingly endorse JFK at the upcoming National Delegates Conference, emphasizing that maintaining him as General Secretary is the surest path to consolidating the Party’s reforms, strengthening its grassroots structures, and positioning the NPP for a successful comeback.

He expressed confidence that the delegates of New Juaben North/South and Suhum would stand firmly behind JFK and contribute significantly to securing his re-election.
