The Ashanti Regional Constituency Chairmen’s Caucus announces a Night Vigil on August 14,2026 at the DMB Regional Office, Asokwa, on the eve of the Ashanti Regional elections, in honour of Chairman Bernard Antwi-Boasiako (Chairman Wontumi).

We hold this vigil to:Stand in solidarity with Chairman Wontumi, whom we believe has suffered an injustice.Honour his legacy of unprecedented and illustrious leadership as Ashanti Regional Chairman.

It is also meant to send a clear signal, locally and internationally, that we will not stay silent.
We call on all constituency executives, party faithful, and well-wishers to join us.

The vigil will be peaceful and disciplined throughout.
