Mr.J.K. Owusu-Boakye( General Abito) ,a leading NPP activist,an ace radio producer, and political aide to late Dr. Akoto Osei,former MP Old-Tafo/ Minister of State,has sent an advice to Ashanti delegates to vote emphatically for aspirants who have proven beyond reasonable doubt to unite the party and bring all shades of disgruntled and apathetic members on board to ensure massive voting for Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia in 2028 elections.

Mr. Owusu-Boakye,now a Patron of the NPP in his Offinso-South Constituency was speaking to constituency officers of the party during a visit by the aspiring regional organiser, Dennis Kwakwa, when he formally announced his campaign for the organisational position of the party in Offinso.

He said,’ I have known Dennis Kwakwa from his party activism in Mampong as Youth Organiser,as regional youth organizer and communication director and during our formation of First Time Voters Project under the umbrella of Youth Rights Advocacy NGO,which transmuted into FSHS( Nana Mma),organisation of senior high school students.

A project that deliver first time votes to NPP to win power in 2016/2020! I can vouch for my good friend Dennis Kwakwa, and he won’t disappoint the regional party in the quest to recapturing power in 2028 with the massive 74%”.

According to him, the NPP has always won a general election with Ashanti voting 74%, and ” my friend is well poised to deliver that,” he indicated. Dennis Kwakwa is affable ,go- getter,humble, and resilient in purpose.These qualities require an operational organiser seeking victory for the organisation.

General Abito said Kwakwa is a tried and tested political activist who transcends the nuances in politics and can therefore deliver the goods!

On Chairmanship, General Abito,as he’s affectionately known in the political space, said he believes in his friend Odeneho Kwaku Appiah ( COKA),who has been a unified person for the Ashanti Regional NPP.

According to him,” we started TV and radio with Mr. Kwaku Appiah when he was vice chairman at Kwabre East ,and through thick and thin ,Kwabre West was created, and he was made Chairman and produced two ministers on record. Late Hon. Owusu- Ansah as MP/ Ashanti Regional minister and Hon. Owuraku Aidoo as MP/ Deputy Energy Minister under Kufuor and Akuffo-Addo regimes,respectively.
He said COKA has the greatest and unflinching desire to see NPP in Ashanti united without any personality idiosyncracies ,thus he stayed neutral during the presidential primaries which saw the election of the former vice president as party flag bearer early this year.
Adding “this is the hall marks of a leader who is ready to bring unity of purpose to a fragmented party in our stronghold! Mr. Owusu- Boakye concluded by saying that he always trusts the good choice of NPP delegates as they vote for experience,dedicated ,efficient, and hard-working officers to leading the great old party( GOP).

For conservatism and rule of laws,good stewards of state institutions and craft ,the progressive nature of good governance ,the NPP stands tall in Ghana ,Africa, and the world of politics!!!!
