Competitive Election Expected;

As the Ashanti Region, remains a key battleground in Ghana’s elections, both major parties and independent candidates are expected to campaign aggressively.

The EC, will now move forward with the vetting process ahead of what is anticipated to be one of the most highly contested parliamentary elections in the region’s history.

The 2024 parliamentary election,promises to be an important indicator of political trends and voter sentiment in Ghana’s electoral landscape.

However, speaking on the Abusua FM in Kumasi with Kojo Marfo, the Ashanti regional Chairman of the NDC Augustus Nana Akwasi, disclosed the NDC will shock the NPP in the Ashanti region, after the 7th December polls.

He said “we(NDC) will shock the NPP in Ashanti region. We are going to win seats in addition to the 4 constituencies, we control in their region you mark my words’’ he told Kojo Marfo.
