ESCHEW CORRUPTION TO ENHANCE ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION-Businessman tells Ghanaians

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JOE AUTO SPARES AND TRADING at Suame Magazine in Kumasi, Mr. Joseph Opoku Siaw says the economic hardships currently facing the world  is as a result of prophesy in the Bible as one of the signs of end time.

He said Christians should therefore prepare themselves in order not to be lost when the trumpet is blown.

He told this paper that the President, Nana Akufo-Addo and his team have been receiving bombardments about the hardships Ghanaians are facing. He said every believer would accept the fact that the current economic hardships are not as a result of   bad governance as people are alluding but it is a prophesy which  must be fulfilled.

According to Mr. Siaw, in as much as the Bible has prophesied the economic hardships, there are some human artificial factors that can be avoided to contain the hardships like avoiding corruption in all aspects of the economy. He noted that for the country to be developed there is the need for all to eschew corruption adding that if the nation had incorruptible leaders and citizens, the country would see transformational growth.

He urged all Ghanaians to join hands in correcting the ills in the country so that Ghana becomes prosperous and safe place to live in. He was hopeful that despite these challenges,” God will still grant our leaders the wisdom and direction to take the country out of the current economic hardships. He also prayed to God to protect the poor and all those who are struggling at this difficult time adding that opportunities should be opened for them too to get their daily bread.Story by Charles Ampong
