The outgoing Ashanti Regional Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Adomako, has officially secured the top slot on the ballot paper as he vies for the position of Ashanti Regional Secretary in the party’s upcoming August executive elections.News
Mr. Adomako successfully picked the Number 1 position on Tuesday following a rigorous vetting process held at the Hasta Lodge in Kumasi.
Addressing journalists shortly after his vetting, an optimistic Adomako interpreted his position on the ballot as a divine omen.
He expressed confidence that his top-spot placement foreshadows victory in the upcoming contest.
“Picking the number one slot is a clear sign of God’s endorsement, and I am hopeful that the final election results will reflect this same outcome,” he added.
The regional secretary role is a pivotal administrative engine within the NPP, responsible for strategy execution, grassroots coordination, and party communication.
Recognizing the weight of the office, Mr. Adomako emphasized that the position requires experienced and serious leadership.
