Let’s continue to stay in unity -Kumawu MP urges religious groups

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Kumawu constituency in Ashanti region,Mr. Ernest Yaw Anim, has commended Muslims in the area for the peaceful manner in which they have co-existed with members of other religious groups, and political parties over the years.

He, therefore, urged them to continue to live as one people with common destiny to help accelerate development.

Mr Ernest Yaw Anim, stated this when he joined Muslims in the constituency to celebrate this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr at Kumawu .

He,also pleaded with the Sekyere Kumawu Chief Imam, Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhasan to help resolve a raging dispute between two factions at Oyoko for peace to reign in that town too.

The MP donated items to the Muslims for the celebration of the Eid-ul-Fitr.
The items include; 30 bags of rice, 10 boxes of cooking oil, 5 boxes of mackerel, and 3 cartons of Milo, besides a cash donation of GH¢10,000 to support the Muslims in observing the sacred month of Ramadan.

The Sekyere Kumawu Chief Imam, Abdul Rahim Nasirudeen Alhasan,who received the items,commended the MP for his kind gesture.
He.also advised Mr Ernest Yaw Anim, to always bear in mind that his reign will one day come to an end so he should not scramble for worth, but strive to leave a good legacy behind.
