The erstwhile New Patriotic Party (NPP) chairman who was suspended by the party in 2015 ,after the Tamale Conference ,together with the then General Secretary and 3rd vice ,has staged a formidable comeback to winning the upcoming chairmanship position of the NPP.

Speaking to delegates clustered in Offinso consisting of Offinso North and South,Kwabre North and South,at a mammoth reception in Offinso,the indomitable Paul Afoko elucidated his winning strategy of the 3Rs,namely, Reunite,Rebuildand Recapture Power.

An audacious and sentilating song customising his agenda for victory made his campaign lively and thought-provoking.

Mr Paul Afoko, without bitterness and vendetta, told delegates why, after the painful excommunication from the party with Kwabena Agyapong and Crabbe,had not deminished his quest to salvaging the party whose life is in intensive care! Rather,like the Apostle Paul told the Phillipians ,’that I forget the past ,and forge on to achieve the glory ahead!

The NPP he wants to lead the victory by Dr Bawumiah and nothing is stopping the president and chairman coming from the North of Ghana,as JA Kufour and Odoi Sykes,Haruna Esseku and Peter MacManu ,were from the south and NPP won power.

He is like Joseph in the Bible,coming with no retributive and vindictive postures,but a warm reunification to rebuilding the party and ultimately winning power for the glory of God to shine again on Ghana!

His plan had worked well for devolving power and financial resourcing of the party, and albeit he was sacked from the party, the strategy worked to produce 169 MPs in the 7th parliament of Ghana Ironically, the party has been teetering on the brink.

He has come now to ensure power is given to the grassroots of the party and eventually brings everybody on board ( Base,Movement,UPP or whoever is on the fence), for the united NPP to win power.

The message from Mr Afoko sent chilling goose pimples on the delegates as a man rejected by his own could in his own accord build bridges to save the party at this hectic opposition situation His approach and leadership style really set him apart, and the NPP is blessed with this Joseph!
