The Ashanti Regional Organiser for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Francis Adomako, aka Francois, has urged all eligible voters, especially first-time voters, to go out in their numbers and vote against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) across the country because it doesn’t have the nation at heart.

Dr. Adomako, who doubles as the Dean of all Regional Organisers, said the conduct of the NDC Members in Parliament (MPs) showed clearly that they wanted to create a scene in Parliament, where there would be a fight between NPP caucus and NDC caucus.

Speaking to tntnewspapergh.com on Thursday, 14th November 2024, Francois stressed that the assertion by some NDC MPs that they would only return to Parliament after the apex court of the land, Supreme court, had ruled on the vacant seats controversy, has reaffirmed his stance that all 2024 NDC parliamentary candidates should be punished by voters on December 7.

“I’m pleading with all eligible voters to vote against all NDC parliamentary candidates. They (NDC candidates) don’t have the country at heart. They don’t want the country to move on. Their current posture in Parliament shows it all,” he pointed out.

The Ashanti Regional NPP Organiser said NDC MPs, most of whom are seeking re-election in their various constituencies, don’t want government business to go on.

“They don’t want loans to be approved. They don’t want workers to be paid. They wish doom for the country, and they don’t want graduates to be employed,” he added.

According to him, NDC MPs believe in unleashing violence in Parliament and creating confusion than conducting themselves well as honourable members.

Francois, therefore, cautioned Ghanaians, especially the youth, most of whom are first-time voters and also beneficiaries of the Free SHS policy, to vote against all NDC parliamentary candidates as well as the NDC presidential candidate because they both have nothing better to offer.

Dr. Francis Adomako, however, appealed to eligible voters to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who is number one on the ballot and all NPP parliamentary candidates so as to help them continue with the good policies and programmes outlined by Dr. Bawumia.
