The leader and founder of the Caravan of Prayer Outreach Ministry at Gyinyase in the Asokwa Municipality of Ashanti, Apostle Johnson Ackah Braimah says in as much as terrorists are not in Ghana, we must prepare well both spiritually and physically in order to contain it when they emerge. He has therefore urged the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo- Addo to declare one day national prayers in order for God to intercede on Ghana’s behalf. He told this paper that terrorism is something that the nation should not joke with hence he agrees with the National Security Minister, Hon. Albert Kan Dapaa urging all Christians  and Muslims to be in high alert during their gatherings. Adding that the need for all Churches and Mosques to put basic security measures in place in order not to fall victims of terrorists attack cannot be overemphasized.

He explained that the directives by the Minister and for that matter the government should not be politicized as it would go a long way to benefit every Ghanaian as far as security is concerned.

Apostle Johnson Ackah Braimah said he is highly optimistic that God would surely “blinds” the eyes of these terrorists if we pray hard before Him(God). He said the same God who relief Ghana during Covid- 19 era would surely do the same at this crucial moment.

The renowned and respected man of God however, said it baffles him these days how some role models in the country like celebrities, journalists, politicians, musicians, clergies among others are fighting on social media. He said this would not augur well for both current and generations to come. He said it is very pathetic that these role models in an attempt to defend themselves on social media result in insults which is undemocratic and uncultured at this era.

Apostle Johnson Ackah Braimah urged such role models to always resort to proper and professional ways to defend themselves when someone wrong them. According to him, it is better they defend themselves by the use of decent language to prove the critics wrong than always using indecent languages.

He said social media has become part and parcel of us and that we must move away from the use of languages that would have negative effects on children. He said “our predecessors did well to craft our national symbols like Ghana anthem to suit our culture devoid of insults and hatred. He urged all Ghanaians to imbibe in them the good lessons of these national symbols at all times for prosperity and development”.
