56 TESCON presidents endorse Yiadom Boakye (YB) for Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser post

With barely a few weeks to the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) regional executive elections slated for 15th August, 2026, the leadership of 56 institutions and members of TESCON Ashanti have officially endorsed Yiadom Boakye (YB) as the best man for the position.

According to them, Yiadom Boakye is one of theirs who have served in various positions with integrity, humility and hard work besides his outstanding vision and strategies layout to mobilise the youth across the region to power the NPP to power come the 2028 general election.

Nana Richard Aseidu, aka Nana Boakye, TESCON president, and Christian Service University (CSU) and his colleagues made the open endorsement on Friday, 17th July, 2026, after they accompanied YB to submit his nomination forms for the position.

They expressed their confidence in the vision, leadership, and commitment of Yiadom Boakye, who’s popularly known as YB in the political space, to youth development in the Ashanti Region as they prepare to recapture power.

 

 

Nana Boakye and his colleagues, TESCON presidents, told the media that their endorsement reflects the belief that YB possesses the energy, experience, and dedication needed to strengthen youth engagement, promote unity, and advance the shared goals of the organisation.

“Our message to other delegates is simple: TESCON Ashanti Presidents and our members have endorsed and pledged our unflinching support for YB and urged all delegates to join us to make YB the regional youth organiser. On his part, Yiadom Boakye (Yiadom) commended the TESCON leadership and members for their support.

Yiadom Boakye (YB) was confident that he would emerge as the winner to enable him to implement his vision to enable NPP to regain its needed support base in the region ahead of the 2028 polls.

YB also expresses optimism that his leadership will inspire and empower the next generation.

He called for a decent campaign by all contestants and their followers to ensure an incident-free process.
