The newly elected presiding member (PM) for Juaben Municipality in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Theophilus Yeboah gave a firm assurance to work assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in him by the assembly members.
Hon. Theophilus Yeboah went unopposed and garnered 20 votes out of 27, representing 74%, in the peaceful election supervised by the Electoral Commission (EC) last week. Hon. Theophilus Yeboah was subsequently sworn into office by Her Honour Harriet Addo, Juaben Circuit Court Judge. On Tuesday, 21st April, 2026.

In his acceptance speech, Yeboah said, “I thank you for the trust you have shown in me. I promise never to take your confidence reposed in me for granted. I will deliver unbiased leadership, one that unites and does not disintegrate. I will follow the set guidelines and work hard for the betterment of the municipality.

I thank the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Eunice Ohenewaa Ansuh, for calling on the respected assembly members to collaborate in electing a PM in the interest of the Juaben Municipal Assembly. This is never my victory.
It is a collective step towards attaining the height we all envisage.
