Lawyer Kyeretwie’s bid for Ashanti NPP deputy secretary post gets a major boost…as TESCON presidents & others endorse him

Lawyer Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie, a leading contender for the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) deputy secretary position, has received a major boost following the opening endorsement by 56 TESCON presidents in the various institutions and their members as well as the party’s internal security team or personnel led by Ernest Appiah Dankwa.

According to Nana Richard Aseidu, aka Nana Boakye, TESCON president for Christian Service University (CSU), and his colleagues and the Ashanti NPP security team led by Ernest Appiah Dankwa,Lawyer Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie has been their backbone for many years, and with him in the lead as deputy secretary, the work will be easy ahead of their determination to win back power.

Making their official endorsement on Friday, 17th July, 2026, after following Lawyer Kyeretwie to submit his nomination forms, Mr Ernest Appiah Dankwa recounted many reasons why they believe Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie is the right man for the job.

According to him, since they lost power in 2024, apart from the general secretary of the party, Lawyer Justin Frimpong Kodua, who once, through Francis Adomako, aka Francois, gave them support, all the support for their activities or programmes has solely been from Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie.

The security team assertion was fully backed by TESCON presidents who also pledged their unflinching support for Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie.According to them, they need people who can do the job and are already doing it.Speaking to journalists, the Ashanti NPP Deputy Secretary Hopeful Lawyer Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie called on his followers or supporters to campaign on his track record devoid of personal attacks or insults. He was confident of winning over 70 per cent of delegates’ votes.

As part of plans to prepare the party for the next general election, he pledged to roll out or implement data-driven reforms to ensure effective grassroots membership mobilisation.

Kingsley Bonsu-Kyeretwie Esq., popularly known as KBK, believes that his several years of contribution to the party through youth engagement, TESCON, and direct support to individuals make him the right candidate for the position.

KBK outlines a campaign focused on data accuracy, grassroots mobilisation, and party unity ahead of the 2028 general election.

According to him, he has contributed significantly to the party through the youth, TESCON, and individuals.

Lawyer Kyeretwie believes that his experience and dedication are what make him the right choice for this post.
