He explained that the donation was in response to a request made during the church’s previous engagement with the school, adding that since Ayigya is the church’s immediate neighbourhood, the needs of the community are of great importance to the church.
Pastor Ababio stated that the ultimate objective of every intervention by the church is to let everyone come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. He added that as ambassadors of Christ, the church has a responsibility to demonstrate God’s love through practical support and positive transformation in society.

Receiving the items on behalf of the school, the Oforikrom Municipal Education Director, Mrs. Dorothy Opare-Baidoo, together with the Headteacher of Ayigya M/A JHS, Mr. Eric Amankwah expressed appreciation to the church for the timely intervention.
Mrs. Opare-Baidoo described the gesture as a major relief to the school and commended The Church of Pentecost for its commitment towards supporting education and community development.
The Headteacher, Mr. Amankwah noted that since he assumed office in 2024, the challenge of inadequate desks had been a major concern. He said the donation came at the right time and would greatly improve teaching and learning conditions.
Both the Education Director and the Headteacher, however, appealed for further support, indicating that the school still requires additional resources, including teachers’ chairs, teaching aids, and other educational materials.
The Church of Pentecost continues to demonstrate its commitment to transforming lives and communities through practical interventions that support education and social development.
