By the Minister for Roads and Highways;Contract Agreement between the Government of the Republic of  Ghana(represented by the Minister for Roads and Highways through the Department of Urban Roads) and Rango-Dzimar JV (a Joint Venture between Rango Construction Company Limited and Talleres Dizmar S.L)for an amount of One Hundred and Forty Million Euros(E140,000,000.00) for the Design and Construction  of Phase 1 of the Suame Interchange and Ancillary Works Project at Kumasi,Republic of Ghana.

The proposed Suame Interchange is made up of a 4-Tier interchange the following functional characteristics:

Ground works (Level 1): All the five road-sections will have 2 X 2-lane ground level linkages to the existing roundabout which will be enlarged and remodeled to allow for local left turn movements.

Viaduct 2 (Level 2):A Kejetia-Suame  2 X 2-lane viaduct with and 2-lane ramp-down right-turn bridges to allow for Kejetia to Tafo movement:Main Viaduct,Kejetia-Tafo Ramp-Down:

Viaduct 3 (Level 3):A Sofoline-Airport 2 x 2-lane Viaduct,and Airport-Offinso ramp to allow for right  turns from Airport.Sofoline-Aiport Viaduct:Airport-Offinso

Viaduct 4 (Level 4):Offinso-Airport 2-lane ramp.Offinso-Airport Ramp:

.Offinso Road (N 10) (3.0km):Suame Roundabout-Abusuakruwa Road;

.Western Bypass(2.0KM):Suame Roundabout-Sofoline Interchange;

.Eastern Bypass(1.4km):Suame Roundabout-New Tafo Road; and

.Mampong Road North (1R4) (1.9km):Suame Roundabout-Magazine New Road.
