The traditional leadership of Trede Mpatasie in the Atwima area in the Ashanti Region has firmly debunked circulating reports suggesting that a revered black stool has gone missing, describing such claims as false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to disturb the peace of the community.
Speaking on behalf of Nana Asante Krobea Amoaben, the Atwima Trede Mpatasiehene, and the entire traditional council, Chief Linguist of Mpatasie, Kyeame Osei Kwame, emphasised that there has been no such incident in recent times.

He assured residents and the general public that Trede Mpatasie remains calm and stable, enjoying harmony under the six-year leadership of Nana Asante Krobea Amoaben.According to the respected linguist, the alleged incident being circulated on social media is not only inaccurate but also outdated.
He clarified that any such issue, if at all, occurred about four years ago and has since been resolved amicably, with no lingering tensions in the community.Kyeame Osei Kwame further alleged that one individual, identified as Kwadwo Bee, is behind the recent attempts to rekindle unrest through the spread of misinformation.
He cautioned the public against giving attention to such claims, urging residents to remain united and focused on development.against giving attention to such claims, urging residents to remain united and focused on development. Adding their voices, some residents and members of the royal family have also strongly condemned the alleged actions of Kwadwo Bee, accusing him of deliberately spreading falsehoods capable of disrupting the peace of Mpatasie.
They have warned that they may be compelled to take legal action against him if the situation persists.According to them, if Kwadwo Bee believes he has done no wrong, he should return to Trede Mpatasie and live peacefully among the people instead of circulating unverified claims from afar.

“The peace we are enjoying today is not by chance but through the committed leadership of Nana Asante Krobea Amoaben and the cooperation of our people. We will not allow anyone to disrupt it with falsehoods,” Kyeame Osei Kwame stated. The traditional authorities are, therefore, calling on all well-meaning citizens, media platforms, and social media users to verify information before dissemination and to support efforts aimed at maintaining peace and unity in Trede Mpatasie.
As the community continues to thrive under stable traditional governance, leaders remain resolute in safeguarding its dignity, culture, and peace for generations to come. Source: Justice Baffour/dailywatchgh.coom
