National First Vice Chairman hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr.Kojo Bamba, has dropped what could become one of the party’s most explosive internal allegations yet, claiming that influential figures within the NPP are secretly orchestrating a campaign to derail Dr, Matthew Opoku Prempeh’s chances of being reselected as Mahamudu Bawumia’s running mate for the 2028 elections.

In a fiery video that has gone viral across social media, Bamba alleged that a calculated smear operation is underway, with TikTok influencers and bloggers allegedly being used to spread what he described as a fabricated story that Napo secured the 2024 running mate slot only because of his close relationship with Kennedy Agyapong.

Bamba dismissed the claim as “a deliberate lie” crafted to poison the minds of party faithful and weaken support for Napo ahead of future internal decisions.

He insisted that the alleged campaign would fail, declaring that no amount of propaganda, blackmail or political scheming could stop Napo from being considered again.

The outspoken party executive hopeful also issued a direct warning to the alleged masterminds, saying he possesses information about those behind the campaign and will publicly identify them if they continue what he described as their “evil agenda.”

His comments have added fresh fuel to conversations within the NPP over succession, party unity, and preparations for the 2028 elections.
