A leading member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. J. K. Owusu-Boakye, has urged the rank and file of the party across the country to renew their loyalty and commitment to the cause of the party, in order to help ensure a one-touch victory for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming general election on December 7.

Mr. Owusu-Boakye, who is also an Energy Law Policy expert, said NPP members should use the current happenings in the political landscape to renew their loyalty and commitment to the cause of the party and the nation devoid of individual and group interests.

Speaking to “The New Trust” newspaper on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024, Mr. Owusu-Boakye, who is also a famous broadcast journalist, lauded the loyalty and commitment of Hajia Famatu Amadu aka Allege, a die-hard NPP member; Madam Mary Duodu, a former Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser of the party, among others, who went through a lot of hardship, including physical and verbal assaults, but did not abandon the party due to their commitment and loyalty.

“I’d like to use this opportunity to encourage the rank and file of the NPP to bury our differences, including our personal and group interests, and join the force to ensure the NPP led by Dr. Bawumia break the 8,” he stressed.

“The party should also not forget to honour and support the likes of Hajia Famatu Amadu across the country so as to renew their commitment. We need everyone on board before, during and after the December 7 polls to help Dr. Bawumia implement his great policies and programmes for the betterment of all,” he added.
