The residents who live along Santan storm drains within Old Tafo constituency under Tafo Municipality have applauded Alhaji & Madina Company Limited for quality work done.
According to them, the project is almost completed and looking at the progress of work since the contractor started work just about three (3) months now, he needs to be commended and recommended for more of such projects to improve drainage system in the Metropolis.
Madam Monica Zaare,a food vendor around the area and other residents said the contractor deserves commendation for fast-track and quality work done to solve the dangerous drain system in the area.
They were very hopeful that the Contractor will soon carry out the remaining filling work to level the place. During a working visit to the site on Tuesday,27th September,2022 by our reporters the workers of the company were seen busily working to help complete the project.
It would be recalled that The New
Trust Newspaper on Friday,15th July,2022 published a story headlined ”BIG JUBILATION…as Tafo MCE cuts sod for road & storm drains projects”.
The famous construction Company,Alhaji & Madina Company Ltd was awarded the LOT-2 of Santan storm drain project which the MCE for Tafo,Hon.Laud Inusah Lansah was assisted by nananom to perform the official sod cutting for the commencement of work on Wednesday,29th June,2022.

The Engineers of the Company say the project is over 95% completed and they look forward to complete the remaining work in few days.
The Santan Electoral area storm drains project among other upgrading road projects in the Municipality is funded by World Bank under Secondary Cities Program.
