The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kofi Adade Foundation, who doubles as a former Assembly member of the Kumawu Dadease Electoral Area, Mr. Kofi Adade, on behalf of the family of the brilliant but needy student of Adisadel College, Marfo Elvis, has expressed gratitude to the Almighty God and individuals who have contributed financially to Marfo’s educational journey.

He recalled that Marfo Elvis, after securing scholarship package from Kofi Adade Foundation to study at Adisadel College, secured 8 A1s in the just released WASSCE results but was finding it difficult to get financial support to pursue a degree in medicine.
A few weeks after the announcement, some individuals, such as the Member of Parliament for the Kumawu Constituency, Hon Ernest Yaw Anim, presented GH¢10,000 scholarship package, while Mr. Francis Opoku Asare, aka Kwame B, also contributed GH¢5,000 to support the educational journey of Marfo Elvis.
Besides, he expressed gratitude to the Kumasi Metro Director of Education, Mr. David Oppong, whose effort linked him to Mr. Kelvin Kwaku Yeboah, who added his support to the educational journey.
An old student of Adisadel College, Mr. Kabutey, from his own will, also paid six-year school fees and hostel fees for Marfo Elvis which has now secured him the opportunity to pursue the medicine degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
He used the opportunity to express gratitude to some journalists who have supported the foundation with publications which, he thinks, have yielded positive responses to Marfo’s educational journey.
Speaking to newsmen, the CEO of Kofi Adade Foundation suggested to various municipal, metropolitan and district assemblies to establish a special scholarship scheme to support brilliant but needy students to pursue medicine degree by signing contract with the assembly to offer its services to the people in the district after completing school.
Mr. Adade believes this will yield positive results in the upbringing of the next generation. Contact Mr. Kofi Adade on 0243176589 or 0538842381 for more details.
