By:Charles Ampong

The chief of Kwapra in the Suame Municipality of Ashanti, Baffuour Adu Gyamfi Kumanin, has humbly appealed to the government to construct Kwapra town roads.

He said Kwapra has more inner roads and proper layout as far as the towns within the Suame Municipality are concerned. In an interview, Kwaprahene said, Kwapra is fast growing town yet its inner roads are not appreciable.

” Suame, Maakro, Bremang and others have gotten their fair share of good roads and it is the turn of Kwapra ” ,he added. He told this paper that the government should  do her possible best to address this concern as it would pave way for easy accessibility of police, ambulance and fire service in case of any eventualities.

Baffuour Adu Gyamfi said, he has lobbied for clinic so that his people access quality health care delivery. He said it was through his efforts that Ghana National Petroleum Company ( GNPC )  built a clinic but it was yet be commissioned. According to Kwaprahene, the clinic is awaiting for delivery of equipment before it starts operation.

He appealed to the government to expedite action on the delivery of the equipment so that accessing quality health care becomes easier for his people.

On the recent incidents of hooting that is becoming attitude of some Ghanaians, especially the recent one at Anlo in the Volta Region when Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II and the vice President, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia were invited by the chiefs and people of Anlo to the celebration of Hogbetsotso festival, Kwaprahene condemned the incident and called those behind it to bow their heads in shame.

He said, they should have considered the presence of  Asantehene and comport themselves to the highest level. Baffuour Adu Gyamfi Kumanin said, this negative attitude that is gaining roots among some youth if care is not taken would be out of control in future. He said another bad implication also is that it would scare investors to invest in Ghana which will automatically affect the current and future generations.
